An awful security company. No wonder they are receiving 1 star reviews, not surprising. Me and colleague verbally abused by a security staff who works in the building with no proper investigations done (they all lied and did not even care to ask my colleague what happened who was with me) then turned it against us to say they were not happy with us! Not a single sorry from them which is all we deserved after having to go through that experience.

I Went for interview as an elite officer. They gave me a job as a relief security officer. they sell you a dream. Old school racism still exist. A few other sites were I worked I was mistreated. I Couldn't complain to the company as they are with the client not with the security officer. All the four and five stars are members of ward security so take no notice. Avoid like the plague...!

Awful experience, applied for a manager role and was interviewed via Teams, had to chase for the 2nd interview. Advertised as an 8 hour shift, during the interview it's now a 10 hour shift. I should have known there and then. Anyway, I finally got a date at the clients premises. Having taken a two hour return trip I was informed I had the wrong date when I arrived, which I didn't have the wrong date. I was given the wrong date. Nothing was said until I chased this up by email where upon I got an apology and was asked to return the following day. Having reluctantly agreed I remade the same 2 hour return trip the following day and Ward didn't turn up. Instead, I had the luxury of having an impromptu interview by phone in front of a captive audience with a person that wasn't scheduld to interview me. Plus the role and hours changed again, you just couldn't make it up. Those 2 trips took considerable commitment due to temporary circumstances and it's things like this, that hurt people the most. . I dare say that the unlucky candidate that secured the role had the luxury of a face-to-face interview and didn't have to attend twice to be stood up. The whole process has taken near to 2 months and I have lost other opportunities. So thanks for that. Contact security quite clearly has a long way to go in terms of catching up with in-house. I have spent many years in high-end corporate roles including onboarding staff and setting robust but fair HR processes. If I treated someone in that manner then I would be mortified. The biggest assets any company has is their reputation and staff. This should also include potential hires. Ward Security may have happy staff and that's great, but is it because they don't know any better? If you want to attract quality staff, then please don't set people up to fail and expect them to take it lying down. No only is it disingenuous but it's not good and it's your own staff that are damaging your reputation.

I worked for ward for over 13 years, can honestly say it’s a great company with opportunities for anyone to progress, Senior management very approachable ( not many security companies where you can speak directly to the owners if you have a problem. I wish ward all the best for the future and would not hestitate to recommend them or work for them again.
